A new way of helping people in need during natural disasters.

Every year, Greece faces a tremendous challenge with wildfires all over the country. Unfortunately, many people find themselves in great need of basic things like food, water, medication, etc.

To solve this problem they, or some organizations, post those needs on social media hoping that people will see them and send help. This way is very confusing both for those in need and for those who want to help.
To do it successfully, we first had to fully understand the problem and find all the pieces that would make this new feature work.

After facing this problem ourselves many times when trying to offer help, we decided it was time to do something.

We decided to create a digital product that will make asking and offering help as easy as possible.

At first, we had a brainstorming session, putting on paper everything that came to our minds. We selected the most promising one and with confidence, we jumped right into it. Even though we were sure that our solution would work, we created wireframes first. And we were wrong...

We tested the wireframes with users and received feedback. Apparently, our solution was not that straightforward and easy to use.

Happily, the final result was a beautiful and easy-to-use app. A person in need can, now, easily ask for help during a crisis. Also, it’s way simpler for someone to find all these requests and offer their help with just a few clicks!
